Leading the beverage program at Nàdair is Ashleigh McFadden, who was named Michelin Guide Atlanta 2024 Sommelier of the Year winner, presented in partnership with Franciacorta.
Ashleigh has been working in restaurants since 2006, but honed her interest to wines. She focuses on adding wines to the restaurant list that are sustainable, organic, and more than likely biodynamic and favors smaller farms, family farms and women-owned farms when she’s making her choices.
The experienced sommelier recommends trying a variety of wines, not just the ones that seem to be the “in” or top brands because it’s what pleases the palate that’s most important in enjoying a good vino.
